After my husband’s unforeseen death, I lost not only him, but much of the life and stability I had spent years creating. Without parents or a traditional family safety net to fall back on, I’ve worked very hard to put my life back together. Having a home of my own is the piece that’s still missing—a place to finally put down roots and feel settled again.

I created Stories in the Walls because I wondered if there might be another way to find that home—through people connecting rather than simply competing in the traditional housing market.

I’m drawn to homes with character and history, whether it’s an older home, an inherited property, or simply a house someone is ready to pass along to its next owner.

I’m not looking for an investment property to flip. I’m looking for a home where I can put my things down, put down roots, and become part of its story.

If my story resonates with you and brings a particular home to mind, I’d love to hear about it.
